Contributions to comedy -Nicole
Nicole has brought with her an unparalleled energy that lights up the stage. Her portrayal of Sphen in our production of Frozen was nothing short of remarkable—she skillfully brought the character to life with a perfect blend of humor and charm. Nicole's comedic contribution was not only funny but also truly award-worthy.
Singer of the year-Beth
Beth's exceptional vocal talent and captivating performances in roles like Annie and Hans have made her the undeniable choice for Singer of the Year. Her ability to embody characters with authenticity and deliver powerful vocals has left audiences in awe. Beth's dedication and versatility truly set her apart, making her a deserving winner for this years award.
Mini newcomer- Cora
Cora, with her infectious joy and natural talent, has effortlessly captured hearts since joining our Mini class at Encore. Her enthusiasm and genuine love for performing have shone through every class. Cora's delightful presence and innate ability to understand and perform over and above what our teachers task her with made her a standout and deserving of the Mini Newcomer award.
Mini Actor - Clara
Clara, a shining star in our Mini classes, captivated everyone with her natural talent and infectious enthusiasm. Her joyous spirit through classes and innate ability to express emotions through acting set her apart. Clara's effortless charm, combined with her eagerness to learn, undoubtedly makes her a deserving winner of the Mini Actor award, forecasting a promising future in the world of musical theatre and we wish her all the best heading into 2024.
Actor of the Year - Liam
Liam, a standout talent at Encore, undeniably deserves the Actor of the Year award. Since joining, he has consistently amazed with his exceptional skills and continues to grow year after year. However, it was his recent portrayal of Olaf in Frozen that truly showcased his brilliance, marking a breakthrough performance that placed him firmly in contention and as the winner of this award.
Actress of the Year - Amber
Amber's journey at Encore has been nothing short of extraordinary, earning her the well-deserved title of Actress of the Year. From a captivating portrayal of Prince Eric in "The Little Mermaid" when joining us to a standout performance as Kristoff in "Frozen," her talent has consistently shone brightly, captivating audiences with each role. Dancer of the Year - Lucy
Lucy's rise to Dancer of the Year was inevitable since joining us. Her passion and dedication illuminated every routine, captivating everyone who has gotten the chance to watch her and her Teachers alike. Lucy's work ethic, artistic flair, and seamless execution made her a standout performer, earning her the well-deserved accolade of Dancer of the Year.
Personality of the Year - Orlaith
Orlaith, a radiant force at our musical theatre school, deservedly won Personality of the Year. Her infectious enthusiasm, unwavering dedication, and uplifting spirit transformed the atmosphere. Orlaith's ability to uplift others, coupled with her genuine kindness, made her an invaluable addition to Encore, earning her this well-deserved accolade.
Most improved student - Chloe
Chloe's journey at Encore has been nothing short of extraordinary. With unwavering dedication and a passion for improvement, she transformed into a standout performer. Chloe's commitment to refining her skills, embracing challenges, and evolving as a performer made her the undeniable choice for the Most Improved award.
Best newcomer - Jessica
Jessica is an exceptional talent at Encore and has earned the well-deserved title of Best Newcomer. Her performance as the Duke of Weselton in Frozen was a revelation—Jessica's comedic timing, infectious energy, and commitment to the character made her stand out. Her debut was a testament to her promising theatrical prowess.
Triple threat - Luthien
Luthian unquestionably deserved the Triple Threat Award at Encore. Her performance as Young Anna in Frozen showcased an extraordinary blend of singing, acting, and dancing. Luthian's talent, dedication, and stage presence were nothing short of incredible, making her a standout and deserving recipient of this prestigious recognition.
Student of the year- Ava
Ava is undeniably deserving of the Student of the Year award at our musical theatre school. Her versatility shone through in extraordinary performances, notably as Mr. Warbucks in "Annie" and a captivating Anna in "Frozen." Ava's dedication, talent, and leadership have left an indelible mark, making her an exceptional recipient and an irreplaceable talent.
Adult student of the year- Dylan
Dylan, our outstanding student for the past 10 years, truly deserves the Adult Student of the Year award at Encore. His portrayal of Kenickie in Grease was nothing short of incredible, showcasing his exceptional talent and dedication. Dylan's commitment promises an equally amazing performance as Glen in The Wedding Singer in April next year!
Sarah Dorrian Award- India
India, a shining star at Encore, undeniably deserved the Sarah Dorrian Award. Her exceptional talent and dedication throughout the year culminated in a breathtaking performance as Elsa in Frozen, leaving the audience in awe. India's unwavering commitment and stellar portrayal truly set her apart, making her the rightful recipient of this prestigious award.
Principals choice award- Millie
Millie's exceptional dedication to her craft and outstanding talent made her the clear choice for the Principal's Award at Encore. With an unwavering work ethic, Millie consistently delivered captivating performances, displaying a rare combination of skill, passion, and creativity that set her apart in the eyes of Allen and everyone who has gotten the chance to see her perform.
